Even though they went through wars, had numerous children, were "always there for the whole family", they never ever complained and that's one cool and very good thing, they taught the generations to come ! I loved them dearly !!

Imagine my grandparents are still very healthy,smart and very strong and there are over 70 yrs of age.I think there cool to me nd I thank GOD for that.

My grandparents are all gone now but I loved them all. My Mom's Mom was an awesome cook and would scratch our back & hug & kiss us. She made us all (10 kids) feel loved! RIP Gramatza!

One grandfather jumped off a train twice to avoid concentration camp.
The other grandfather fought in Africa and received the war cross.

He was able to run fast, and I am naturally fast now without practice. Those Olympic runners seem slow to my family, too bad I don't enjoy mandatory training and cramped muscles.

My grandma was so naive, she let me do whatever I wanted. My cousin and I used to spend a month or so at her house over the summer. We were so out of control, but I enjoyed every minute of it!

My grandpa lost 3 fingers on his right hand, leaving only the thumb and first finger, but they were great for holding a can of beer.
