studing As level sciences or mathematics early?

should i focus on my GCSEs?

Focus on GCSEs. Don't do anything early, apart from reading scientific magazines, looking things up on the internet, and that sort of thing. I set my home page to 'Astronomy Picture of the Day' (see source) which in addition to having superb pictures also gets over a lot of good science behind the astronomy and has links to other good science websites.

As for A levels, go for it! With fewer and fewer people studying science you will make yourself particularly attractive to employers if you are well qualified in that area. Maths is important, but not essential. As for 'which science?' I'm a fan of physics, but do what you enjoy.

Don't worry about your GCSEs as they're multiple guess and you can usually eliminate 2 or 3 ridiculous options.

Remember, you still have your 50/50, Ask the Audience and Phone a Friend if you get stuck!

read,read,read.-ask,ask- think,think-last but not least ask plenty
of questions,their is no such thing as a dumb question,only some
times stupid or false answers.
