Yes, but the reinventing is a on going process and I could well explain that this way:
What all you learn anew everyday on the same activity to do still better and successful than what you did yesterday is a reinvention of yourself !
So the input to this is the material world and all the associated phenomena outside you, which is reflected in your action as a reinvention of you, almost daily!
No doubt that I too experience it in life, many times!
