anyways here are somethings that might help you to hit the sack:-
1.make sure your room is 99% dark when you hit the lights off.even a single light ray can sometimes cause sleep disturbance.
2.if you are not sound asleep within 20 mins of lying down then get up and read something.
3.you can exercise before going to bed but make sure that you don't do it straight after dinner.
4.have a light dinner.
5.relax and think positive.

hmmm....I always wish that there should be some way of refreshing without sleeping, you know! so much time is wasted in sleeping.....though i sleep a lot, lolz
If i can't get to sleep then i definitely read a book or watch some good movie accompanied by a good hot cup of coffee and chocolate,(mmmmmmmmmm yummy) or simply do day dreaming., eventually i will sleep. Coffee always works for me., strange but yeah, it make me sleep faster than any thing else.....lolz

The most tried and the method with best results for christians has been reading the bible. trust me this has been made a foolproof formula amongst the christians, but thankfully i don't need to do that because sleeping is like my hobby.

Select a point of focus(say a poster on the wall) and just stare at it for a loonnnng time (in the dark !!)... without blinking. It wears you out. Then try to see if you can sleep. If not, repeat again.

actually i never have that problem.....cause i luv sleeping!!
but even if i can't get to sleep sometimes, i start reading my social science(ss) text book. and then within next two minutes...im off to sleep!!
try it.....it really works!!

Its Simple Buddy..Just read book of the subject that u wont like..Automatically v get the sleep,
I do the same thing to get sleep....

As you get older, these fears usually fade. Until they do, make sure your room makes you feel relaxed and peaceful. Look around your room from your bed. Are there things you can see from bed that make you feel good? If not, add some. Display some family photos or other pictures that make you happy. You might even create a mobile to hang over your bed.

Turn the lights off ,get into my soft blanket, close my eyes & try not to think anything & if it doesn't work i start thinking all kind of stupid imaginary things untill i get bored & fall asleep lol !! :)
