scorpion, you can continue to give blood as long as there is period of at least 12 months between your last tattoo, and the time of the donation

I used to - then I started with the tattoo 'thing' and I went a few years without going.
Sadly now I can't go because of illness and medication, but I did 'rack up' 25 pints of blood given - not bad!

I do - must say the standard of biscuits has improved recently. Doesn't hurt and is a way of doing alot for someone in a short period of time.
Can I presume from people who have answered in the US that you get paid?! In the UK it's done on a voluntary basis! (apart from the free coffee and biscuits)

I don't because, a friend of mine had a child with leukemia and needed a bone marrow transplant, so they had a blood drive and screening for bone marrow match. I was told that i was too heavy to donate bone marrow so i figured if they didn't want fat bone marrow they don't want fat blood. if i had a child dying i wouldn't care if the donor was overweight. it was ridiculous!

i used to regularily.
but it always lefts a large haematoma in its place,so my dad was really worried about me,and he asked me to promise to stop it.
there's a type of blood doning,in which after you give blood, you take a cheque,or something like a coupon, that u keep with u if u need blood anytime.or u can give it to someone who really needs this coupon.
that's good.
