Are they real? My girlfriend has a friend who says she has spirits of dead teenagers helping her manage her life. She say they have been helping her for 5 months now and havn't told her to do anything bad. My first thought when hearing this was demons from Satan. I'm not sure what to think now. These "spirits" help her with her life when she is depressed, example: She had a huge fight with her family and the spirits helped her forgive her family and told her all the positive things about them. I know that makes it sound like their good spirits not evil ones, but couldn't all this good be leading up to something really bad? If anyone has any information an helping spirits or anything like that, please tell me.

There are many unanswered questions.

On two different motorcycles I have had engines fail to start. Thorough checks showed absolutely nothing wrong, but I was obliged to drive a car for a day or two.

Later the engines came to life immediately, and ran fine.

I never knew what awaited me if I had driven the bike instead of the car, or left at the moment intended.

On another occasion, after riding about 30 miles, I pulled away from a stop light and the engine died. It felt exactly like the ignition had been turned off, so I looked at the key, and saw that it had been turned fully to the left, completely OFF.

Turning it back to normal position, and releasing the clutch, saw the engine run normally, but I took it as a hint to stop for gas at the first station. and delay my time reaching home.

Perhaps the most memorable moment, and the reason I paid such attention to the motorcycles, occurred many years ago, as I was approaching an intersection at which a single car was stopped, and evidently waiting for me to pass before making its left turn. I was travelling about 35MPH and close to the intersection when a sudden and strident message came to me to TURN RIGHT!.

A quick analysis of the situation said there was no danger, as there was only one car and it was stopped, so I ignored the command but then, as my tires touched the white lines on my side of the intersection, the other car jolted ahead and drove straight into the front of my car.

I learned cars actually do lift up and off the ground upon impact, even when there is a considerable difference in their sizes.

I also I learned that seat belts really DO save lives as my steering wheel went up to the roof of my car, where it would have easily crushed and killed me, while my passenger got a huge bump on the forehead, from banging against the windshield, but not going through it.

Since then I have paid attention, and it has paid off handsomely, several times.

I do not know if all such things are positive with all people, but they have undoubtedly helped me.

These 'spirits' could be many possible things. For example:

* Deceased people in the next higher dimension (astral zone)
* Reflected wisdom of our own Higher Self (spiritual centre)
* ETs helping using forms of accepted human beliefs
* Some form of mental imbalance (hopefully not the case)
* Entities called 'thought forms' (ideas with dependent existence)

As you see, the universe is a very mysterious place and it is hard to describe unseen realities adequately.

Note: Concept of an evil Satan was not part of original Jewish thinking. This idea was borrowed from the Zoroastrian religion after the Jews were in long captivity in Babylon. Zoroastrianism had a dualistic system of 'Light' versus 'Darkness'. In fact both Christian and OT bibles were influenced by pagan Mystery Religions of Egypt, Persia, Babylon, Greece & Rome.

Its primarily psychological, but if the belief is helping her to get along better in life then it definitely isn't "Satan" (which I don't believe in). I sometimes think that I have something like "Guardian Angels" that guide me, but its really more of the collective memory of the good guidance that I have received over the years from many different people, including some who are no longer among the living.
