I'd go for existentialism and say that there's no definite purpose of life, but you should choose or find it yourself...As for me,I live because I'm interested in what comes next...Just like reading a book-you always want ot know what will happen in hte next chapter and what will be the end).

Just to live and love life. Enjoy the pleasant and not dwell on the bad.
Anything you can do to help yourself feel useful is a good thing. Whether that is not ignoring the great authors, helping feed people, helping animals or just watching a good movie.
Enjoy every day as though it were your last.
Spend your time actually LIVING life instead of spending all your time in front of a computer.
Take risks, have adventures, learn from your past, become responsible for your own self and your future.
Your purpose is to become the best you can be, whatever that may be.

Your direction can and will change throughout life. To have only one direction or purpose is to be closed to new learning and therefore not applying intelligence.
As beings we all change and grow through life (hopefully) so our direction should ultimately change also.
My current direction/purpose is to discover as much as I can about the truth on this planet.

Your direction or purpose in life is one given to you by God and is his reason for having you in the world. No one can be certain of their purpose unless they have obtained it from the Lord himself.

I don't think it's possible to live your life outside of your purpose. The longer I live, the more I realize that even when I didn't think I was doing anything of importance, or making an impact...my simple existence had somehow affected something or someone else.

One thing is sure and agreed upon and that is that without God there is no purpose of life.
