At this time of year, I'd definitely go Central Park! You will get a feel for not just where you are, but also "when". If you're in a museum, it could be at any place in time, more or less. If I only had one afternoon, I'd want it to be attached to a time so that when I looked back on it, it would take me not to just the place, but also to that time in my life. What better way than at a holiday time of year?

I would go to MOMA - I've been in Central Park - the art work in MOMA has probably been added to since the years that I was there.

Central Park, of course..their zoo has penguins..and I just couldn't pass up going there to watch them swim and play. I've been to MOMA so many times already, and while it IS nice...its good to be outside..taking in the sights/sounds.

I always wanted to see Central Park.
Not this time of year though. It's very chilly.

South St Seaport is actual impressive in case you opt to snatch some beverages and dinner. they have some eating places and bars. try Cabana. something extra relaxing and interactive could be Dave and Buster's. this is placed in situations sq.. They too have food and beverages, yet in addition they have video games (for adults). ultimately, i could advise Museum of organic history. Sounds boring, in spite of the shown fact that this is rather not. You men can inspect the Planetarium... this is rather romantic :-) relish!!!
