I'm trying to fill out a job application on line but the information doesn't fit into the boxes - it sort of disappears inside them I can see some of what I have written -is this normal? Will it expand at the other end so it can be read? Is there something wrong with my computer?
I just don't understand this stuff at all, and if I can't even fill in an application - I have no chance of getting a job!

This is quite normal. The input window is a size commensurate with the web page. It would be impractical to have it the size of the maximum amount of data someone might type in. They couldn't have window as large as a piece of paper, your text will appear in full at the other end. There may be a maximum number of characters that you can input but it will usually tell you.

Change the screen resolution settings on your PC. Go into Control Panel, Display and move the slider to the right.
