I have voted our new Treasurer of Australia, Mr Wayne Swan, into power this election and for all the elections prior to that. He will make an astute treasurer for this country. Though a lot of spending will be required to improve the damage left by the coalition. Well Done Swany!!!

Yup, we got a silver-spoon in her mouth, dip-sh**# laborite who moved into the electorate (the toffy part of course- not the real working class areas), one of Kevvies hand picked leggy females, small l liberals. Knew of her at Uni and she will be a rubber stamp for Kev, not our electorate rep. Tossed out a man who had done a decent job. And I don't vote (rip up ballots) so have no particular affiliation, one way or the other. If she proves me wrong, I'll be happy, but I won't hold my breath!

Her name? Amanda something...

Fortunately I live in a safe Labor seat of Hotham, so I have the same Labor MP, Simon Crean, a former ACTU leader.

Doesn't look like it. We were made part of a new electorate this year and unfortunately the National party member has retained his seat.

Yes, I'm in Petrie and we have finally pushed Teresa Gambaro out of her seat after 11 yrs!
Yvette D'Ath (labour) claimed victory yet Gambaro has refused to concede defeat.

I was just a little loud just then, thanks to your link I just found out that Kate Ellis for Adelaide was voted in [labor].

I've really wanted her to have a chance. I really want to see what she does with the seat. (yep, she is a change)

EDIT: Adelaide Inner City (to be more specific)
