Look man, we've got people naming their children 'jesus', 'moses', 'apple' and 'Paris'. In context, 'anonymous' sounds like a gift!

Maybe and maybe not - but then why would a person want to impose such a burden on a human being? We're all so anonymous to start with.

When I was small I thought "Anonymous" was one hell of a clever person because many of the wise sayings and quotes were ascribed to "Anon"...Now if you name your kid Anonymous, he would escape easily when in trouble, nobody would be able to trace anonymous....

Yes, but a silly joke at your kid's expense. I believe it is not legal to include numbers or characters in you kid's name.
