University is getting waay expensive, nowhere near the expense of the U.S education system, but it's getting expensive nonetheless. I live in Ontario and I think that the Ontario government needs to think about giving more funding to our schools or regulating the way the schools spend funding. The textbooks we have need to be shared with other classes and need to be rebound every two years or so. I've been to three high schools here and two of them have been in sad disrepair (the other on had been just built, plus it was in Barrie where there is priority). The boards need to seriously take a walk through these schools and make note of what needs repair and updating (our cafeteria tables have graffiti dug into them dating back to 1972!). Thank goodness for excellent teachers. My history teachers are some of the best I've ever met and grasping the concepts at school is easy because they know how to teach. We just need the facilities to be updated to fit the reputation of the teachers.

Canada's educational system can use a lot more funding financially, but it's still a better education then what I got growing up as a kid.

My nephew attends a public school where disabilities like hearing impairment and ADD are catered to.

When I was a kid, children with disabilities went to a separate school.

Slowly, things are changing for the better.

i do unlike how the class years are ordered, yet it relatively is probably because of the fact i'm used to my very own. (straightforward= ok-5; center college=6-8;extreme college=9-12). I do like how training are taught in the two French and English. i think of it may be great in the event that they did that here. In English and Spanish nonetheless. I guess many human beings might have a difficulty with that because they think of "that is usa so communicate English," yet i think of getting to understand 2 languages may be a great earnings for the destiny. noticeably because further and further human beings are conversing Spanish interior the US.

Our son is a teacher and has seen the deterioration of the school system in the last 20 years. Less funding, programs being cut, and quite often teachers are hamstrung.
