well,as I'm a science student who is studying nursing i would like to volunteer as a nurse or any organizations that helps the poor n needy in any part of the country no matter in what situation they are in

I volunteer (currently) at a local animal shelter, but I would like to volunteer for the olympics one day.

I volunteer at a nursing home. I just visit with the residents and read to some of them. I try my best to soak up the wisdom earned through years of life experience and they appreciate the company of a willing visitor.

Any global warming awareness program. As a college student, I guess that's where I'm best suited to volunteer for.

I have volunteered and done - helping adults with literacy problems, teaching foreign students English and teaching computer skills to elderly people (and young children). And it's been very rewarding - I still keep in touch with some foreign students I taught.

I do volunteer, at the hospital to visit the sick and the elderly I also help new mothers and I help at the food bank.
