My husband told me tonight that my the colour of my vagina had gotten darker, not in one specific spot but all over (the insides of the labia etc) What the? Is that normal?

Lol I had the baby almost 2 years ago and he has seen my vagina a few times since then to have noticed it

The color of your vagina can change with different arousal states. I would mentioned it to your doc. on your next scheduled exam. If you don't have any uncomfortable symptoms, I wouldn't worry about it.

Does it matter? Just be thankful your husband gets down there close enough to notice. See a doc of worried. But pregnancy does some weird stuff to a woman's body.

It could be that you were turned on more or less this time. When we get sexually excited, blood rushes to the area. The amount of blood in the area affects the overall color of the tissue. Since it was an all-over color change, I wouldn't worry about it.

You were probably highly sexually aroused at the time and your genitals were engorged from the blood. It's normal...and a good thing! I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Otherwise, a trip to the doc can do no harm.

Perhaps you could ask your OB/GYN during your Annual Check up and Pap-Smear Test?

May be that your tanning spray was sprayed in the wrong areas :-).
Skin color can mildly vary with the increase or decrease in melanin pigments.
