The best way for you to meet quality men would be on match.com or eharmony.com. What I would do is put your profile in with a photo. Age range you want. It is pretty safe as they only give your first name. YOu will get 100's of hits..then separate the wheat from the shaft. Quality..will be there, but you may have to go on a few dates before meeting the right person. Be honest, put in your interests, hobbies etc. and write what you want in a man. Don't forget to put, no druggies or sex deviates should apply. My friend met the man of her dreams on match.com. They are engaged to be married next year. Also, meet in a public place. Do not give your home phone, give cell phone for communication, and meet him a few times in a public place until you can trust him. Do not go in his car if you feel something is not right..use your inner voice to guide you. eharmony is a faith based internet dating site and very reliable. Try that one. Try it what can you lose. I guess your chances depends on whether you are male or female and what made you wait this long. Males find it easier to get someone (not necesarily the right person). Either way with being more self sufficient you stand a better chance at your age as you may not be seen as a burden or liability. Relax and make friends and i'm sure you would meet new people in your community and if that fails there is always the internet.

You shouldn't have a problem. There are plenty of men that are sure enought about themselves to were they don't need some young inexperience cheerleader on their arm. Some men are looking for substance. That whole thing about if a women isn't married by the time shes, what is it 30? is bs. I'm 38 and just got married 3 months ago for the first time. My suggestion would be try a dating site like match.com, or hang out where mature (not just age but also attitude) men would hang out. Stay away from bars mostly only little boys hang out there. Keep your chin up it will happen. goodluck

Nothing comes down to chance. If you want to meet someone, a potential husband/wife, you need to stimulate that to happen.
Chance is for dreamers, and loneliness is a very real problem that can drastically decrease the quality of your life, especially as time roles by....
You are the master of your own destiny... and remember, if you find a man/woman you love and believe he/sheloves you back, yet they are a slacker and are taking a while to ask you to marry them... ask them to marry you.
Go and actively make an effort to meet genuine and suitable people (join a cooking class etc or a dating online thing) and then take control of what you want. We all have that power in us, but it takes confidence.

You say you are "Pretty", so you must be a girl.
Great chances, but don't really look for him, trust the Lord Jesus to bring the right guy along. You have really good qualities that you describe about yourself.
Just be yourself and be happy being alone. Lots of married people want to be single, and vice versa.
It will be okay for you as you trust Jesus for the right guy.

Why would ya wait till 50? Im 40 and I,ve been married for 8 years and I have to say, starting over at 40 would be a challenge, but 50 wow, and dont get me wrong, its not about how ya look at 50 or if your funny etc, its about why you waited so long, thats gonna be a issue, it just sends out a red flag to men, they wonder whats wrong with her? why hasnt she ever been married? but on another hand, lots of people wait till their in the middle of their lives to marry, I really wouldnt worry to much, but dont wait much longer, as you are not getting any younger, and Im not being rude, Im just puttin it to you straight!

I believe your chances are the same as every ones. Just because your 50 doesn't mean you cant find the right person for you. There are so many people out in the world and I am sure there is one right for you! When the time is right it will happen. Good luck on your search for love!

Just be careful about being the victim.
There are a lot of men out there who look for women just like you. And they will ruin it.
Carefully select your standards and stick to them.
I dated online and at 44 met the man I have been with for 5 years, and lived with for 2, and it's been the best relationship of my life.
But I was extremely dedicated to my standards. And he does exist. He's the only one, but I found him. ...lol
They're out there. They're looking for you. Just make sure the motive is to be in a commited relationship and not to take advantage.

Your chances are pretty good if you're looking for someone your age. They might have lost a previous spose or divorced. In either case, you might have to accept and make yourself acceptable to a bunch of grown-up stepsons and stepdaughters. Of course, if you're looking for a young 'un, as one of the others said, you had better be rich and willing to accept a sharp fleecer.

If you join dating sites and social groups for singles 45+ you should be able to meet a lot of other singles, so the chances are pretty good.
