when you're on a bike you're travelling at a faster speed. rain falls vertically - on a slope depending on the wind - but still vertically. when you're walking you only get wet by the amount of drops that vertically fall and a few infront of you as you walk into them on you but as you travel along faster on a bike you get the veritcall drops plus the drops in the metres ahead of you that are at you're height as you are going through them before they hit the ground as you cover more land. hope that makes sense.

If the duration is more, more amount of rain falls on you.So, when you are going slowly on a bike, the duration (to cover the same distance) is more and you get more wet.

How do you get more wet when standing under a shower
for 1 minute or by standing in the shower for 2 minutes. But, once you are wet, then you're wet. But actually amount of water that hits you will be more the longer you are exposed to it. Get it?
