" Put_ya_mitts_up " -- good answer, impressive credentials but I am sure you have heard the expression "the evidence points to..." ?! If nothing is done about what the evidence points to then let's all bash the working class.... (which I m not, notice, just in case you use that to bash me, LOL).... and let's defend the McCanns because by doing so we will all feel more... middle class, LOLOL !!! That is what this all about , isn't it ? CLASS !
It may be CLASSY, LOL, but it certainly isn't kool ignoring evidence.... and supporting suspects who refuse to co-operate with police and helping them with their enquiries. If the police in this case was English and the suspects were Portuguese... MY GOD what we would all be saying instead!!!
Does TRUTH matter ? In what circumstance does it matter?! In any circumstances ? Well, not according to a lot of people who consider themselves PRO-MCCANN instead of being PRO JUSTICE, pro truth, instead they don't worry that the whole world is watching us and we are allowing the world to conclude the wrong thing about England. That worries me.

I refuse to believe either of the McCanns have harmed Madeleine. What would they have done with her body in that heat?
Unless I see some definate hard evidence I shall never believe they have harmed the child and I dont believe they are a risk to the twins.
A lot of parents relax their boundaries on holidays, I know they shouldnt have left the kids alone and they will have to live with this for the rest of their lives.
All this newspaper coverage saying she is deffo alive then the following week deffo dead..............god it must be killing those parents. I truly believe the child is dead but not by her parents hands. I believe some sicko took her after careful planning and killed her after panicking about the media coverage. Afterall from the way the Portugese seem to have messed up it looks as tho other kidnappings are so played down that it must be like open season to pervs.
Give these poor parents a break.............if ........IF they are ever found guilty I will eat my words.

I think social services should be involved with the little ones, but as we all know, because the McCanns and the McCanns they won't involve them selves with the Little ones. The McCanns are now in affect celebrities.
Whether they done something to their daughter or not is besides the point. Even McCann supporters should agree that the little ones need to be thought of, to make sure that they are safe and not left alone.
I know a woman who had her 2 youngest taken off her, because she left them alone on 2 occasions.
If you or I left our kids on their own while we went "out" the McCanns would be the first to report us.

How many times has this question been asked?!
The twins are perfectly safe. The only thing the McCanns are guilty of is leaving the children alone in the apartment - and I would have thought that considering what happened to Madeline, they have learnt their lesson on that front.
Leave them alone.

They were investigated by social services, when they returned to the UK.
Many people make comparisons - and assume that if they
were from a council estate, etc etc. These aren't facts, but assumptions. It appears that many people did in fact, leave their children while they ate. They assumed, wrongly, that their children were safe. The environment was such, that they weren't alone in their state of false security.
You have to decide if the children are safe because Madeleine was abducted, or unsafe because she was murdered by the parents. You can't really accuse them of both scenarios.

After all that has happened I would think the twins are very safe. If and I repeat 'IF' the parents had anything to do with Maddies disappearance, I would expect them to make sure nothing every happened to the twins.

This question has already been askes before, social services have been to see the family and they have no concerns at all with the twins, that is why they are still with the parents.

Their twins are safe for the simple reason that the McCanns wouldn't dare do anything like they did before, the risk to their lifestyle would be to great, and that is what counts for them.

To suggest the Mc Canns would harm the children is daft. Have they not suffered enough, or would you prefer to kick them when they are down.

This whole saga has been fishy since day one and Madeleine is still missing. I just hope she is found soon and put a close to this. It is dragging on far longer then I thought it would.
