I have really heavy, and "bad" periods. I start out with heavy flow, bright red, and a lot (4-6 per wipe) of little clots. Every time I move it feels like I am gushing, and when I go to change my pad there wasn't a lot (like not as much as I expected) that came out. (It feels like it is going to overflow the pad and go down my leg... sometimes.)

I get really bad cramps, headaches, and my entire body aches. Sometimes I have really loose stools, and even dizzyness. I get sick to my stomach, like I want to throw up. And I get the "cold sweats" followed by hot flashes.

I've noticed that each month these symptoms get worse. My back has started to "stick" and it's painful to lay flat in bed now. I've gotten pain and stiffness in my hands and arms.

This time, on the day I started (before I knew I was going to have my period) I felt weakness in my legs, my arms went weak, I became shaky, felt faint, my heartbeat was faster and felt like it was skipping beats. I was sweaty, chilled...

This time, on the day I started (before I knew I was going to have my period) I felt weakness in my legs, my arms went weak, I became shaky, felt faint, my heartbeat was faster and felt like it was skipping beats. I was sweaty, chilled, dizzy, and had vision problems (blurring and double vision). I tried to open the freezer (at the store) and did not have strength to open it. I squeezed my hand into a fist, but couldn't grip very tightly at all. I was shaking (in my hand and arm) when I let the fist go. I got so bad at one point that I had to sit down between some shelves at the store in the middle of an isle, so if I fainted I wouldn't fall so far...

I know it almost sounds comical, but it's my real life and it's nowhere near funny. I also have pains in my sides and chest, feels like gas pains, but doesn't go away. I have lost my appitite, and sleep patterns are shifting as well.

What could this be a sign of?? I am planning to see a doctor as soon as the weekend is over. Ideas??

I forgot to add that I'm 28, and have been having most of these symptoms since I was in my teens.

There are a number of possibilities for what could be causing this such as endometriosis but the only way to find out for sure what is going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation to see what they think is going on.
