We are in a world that is supposed to judge a person solely on their ability to perform a job but statistic show that ethnic names can seriously hinder a persons ability to obtain a job even if they are qualified. Obviously you are not pregnant and this is for future consideration so hear my advice and measure it with the others and then make your decision. The other thing is that if you went to some place like Disney would they have a cup or anything that you could buy with her name on it? How would that make her feel?
Pretty as those names are you may want to consider how it will affect your future daughter.

OH!! Please don't do that to your daughter. She will be marked for life as a ghetto child. (I know you've heard the jokes.) Neither of these names will ever make it to the White House. You've diminished her value in the workplace before she's even born. She's going to have to work hard enough as it is. The best she will be expected to do is McDonald's with that name. I'm not saying you need to give her a typical Anglo name, but stay away from the "Ebonics" sweetie.

Please rethink you choices and ask this question again.

Good Luck!

I'm sorry: none-
Why is every one naming their kids to sound like gangsta ho's and porn stars? Three syllables, ending in 'a' (yeah, except for shaquan, whatever THAT means). But 'beyonce', 'shakira', 'latitia' 'latoya', etc. GAG!! What's wrong with a standard name? Is it not 'good' or 'cool' enough? Why does everything have to sound marketable- are we all commodities, that need a catchy name?, God, name her "jennifer", or 'Kathryn'; or maybe 'Cheyenne' if you want something different.
Sorry if this was a bit of a rant... I just think these kind of names are trendy and silly- the person has to live with it her whole life- dignity has its place.

I like the name Karisma/Charisma.
Tyerica/Tyreca is pretty!
I went to school with a girl named Precious Gem. She had a little girl and named her Africia.
Good Luck finding the perfect name!
