Oh a villian. Absolutely. They have much more fun and as long as I didn't create drawn out plots or explain myself to the 'hero' I'd probably get away with it all.

I guess I'd be neither. I'd be the maniacal vigilante that thinks they're doing the right thing, but sometimes crosses the line and frustrates heroes and villains alike. :)
