wow thats exactly the same as me!! well i wouldnt say its fat maybe slightly overweight just eat healthily and exercise, swimming is good to stay toned and dancing is fun and keeps you fit dont worry about what you look like if you're healthy you're fine and remember curves are in! i was just reading what other people said and dont even think about listening to super.wisdom if she really is 16 and 6stone she's seriously underweight and anorexic as she doesnt eat anything, thats unhealthy and its not sexy to be like that at all!!! But seeing as we cant see her she probably just wants to feel good about herself and is more likely to be a 4ft 89stoner who feels down about herself and likes being mean. whatever you do dont starve yourself or overexercise its the worst thing you can do!! good luck x

Im 13 and 5ft 4 and I weigh 86 pounds.. Whats 8 stone? But NEVER say your fat! I bet your perfect. Healthy ways to lose weight are cutting back on calories and excersizing, but make sure your getting proper nutrition.

It is not necessarily fat, depending on your frame. I would encourage you to engage in a diet and exercise program. Being overweight causes all kinds of health problems.

If possible, go on a vegetarian diet. If that is not possible, limit your intake of red meat, fried foods, and baked goods. Stay away from sweets and forget the chocolate gateaux.

For exercise, consider running, riding a bicycle, swing dancing, or any other form of aerobic exercise. Would you consider playing rugby? [smile] If you have access to a gym, work out there. If there is boxing available, you can burn a lot of calories working out with a heavy bag. A 10 minute workout punching a heavy bag would be the equivalent of a half hour run. Also, a lot of really neat guys are boxers.

Think positive. You can control your weight. Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, was able to control her weight.

I'm not sure but does 12 stone equal 168lbs?? If that's correct then you sound fine. Not skinny, by any means but not fat by any means either. I looked on a height/weight chart and it said for your height: small frame: 126-139, medium frame: 136-150, large frame: 146-167 this is in lbs. I looked up what a stone was and it said that 1 stone equals 14lbs. So you can convert that back into stones. I hope this was helpful.

10 stone would be a better weight (140 lbs). The rule of thumb is 100 lbs at 5'0 pus 5 lbs for every inch above 5'0, so at 5'8 your ideal weight would be 140 lbs (10 stone).

Perhaps a web search for "lose weight" + "natural ways" might be of interest.

You've got a bit more growing to do yet so I shouldn't worry to much. Keep an eye on it if it bothers you that much and just eat properly and exercise nature will do the rest.

eat healthy hun , you sound fine but your obviously worried about your weight , lots of walking is good and cut out any rubbish

No offence meant here but you are a big lass. If you eat healthy, walk to school or get off the bus a couple of stops early you'll be fitter in no time. Good luck
