Anime I've completed: Fullmetal Alchemist, Rurouni Kenshin, Death Note, and Ouran High School Host Club
Anime I have watched but not completed: 30 episodes of Naruto, 10 episodes of DN Angel, and 2 episodes of Bleach.
I have a lot of free time on my hands now and I want to find a super good anime that's similar to the anime that I have completed ^^. Any good recommendations?
Oh yeah.. and I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan so if you know any anime similar to that, that would be great!

Oh and I would prefer it to be around the genre of romantic comedy or action. I don't like anything too dark or gory.

Nobody has ever, ever heard of this one, but Magic Users' Club is a great romantic comedy anime! It's random and silly, and manages to be horribly sweet enough to hold you through to the end :3
The story is basically about these five or so members of a school club called the Magic Users' Club, and their crazy (and often bungled) attempts to use magic... the main character is a girl who's hopelessly devoted to the club president, who is a complete pervert in the most hilarious way... and there's also a really feminine guy who's always hitting on the president, but of course the president likes girls... XD; I don't think I can explain it that well, but you should at least check out an episode or two! ^_^
I would also recommend One Piece~! If you can get past the unusual art (most people seem to get stuck on this ._.) it is a really fun, awesome story about chasing your dreams and finding that place where you belong <3 Oh, and it's about incredibly unconventional pirates! >3 I wouldn't watch the dub though, but Japanese with English subs is readily available at many places online. <3
Escaflowne is also a good series, it's kind of a fantasy romance... basically this girl gets sucked into another world where the moon AND the earth are in the sky... and meets a couple of guys and gets drawn into the world's events... it has a very good plot, nice music, and cute bishounen, what more could you want :P
Something also along those lines is Fushigi Yugi, but um... I'm tired of writing descriptions now XD;
Hope you find something you like!

You may wanna check out:
Mushishi -
http://www.veoh.com/series/mushishi1?sea...
An absolute masterpeice. Each episode tells a different story. It's a fantasy/drama unlike any you'll ever find. my favorite anime.
If you've ever seen any of Hayao Miyazaki's films (Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, etc,.) there is no doubt that you will enjoy this.
Mushi are neither plants nor animals and their existence and form are unknown by many. Ginko, a Mushi-shi, travels around to uncover the mysteries of the Mushi. As he investigates, he helps people who struggle with problems caused by these mysterious creatures.
Juuni Kokki -

Although it ended early (the manga was never finished), this is deffinitely worth watching. If you sit through the first couple of episodes you will be surprised. What seems like a typical story at first turns out to be far from typical. Some of the best character development I've ever seen in anime.
Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann -

The most talked about series this year. I don't usually like mecha anime, but this is a rare exception. A must see
Last EXILE:

Great story.

These are what I recommend since I've seen all of the anime's you've listed except one:
Kyou Kara Maou
D. Gray-man
Fate Stay Night
Inuyasha
History's Strongest Disciple
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles
Shaman King
Maybe...
Buso Renkin
I don't recommend watching Naruto and Bleach unless you want to watch the action. They have too many filters and it takes forever for them to go to one plot to another. Manga is much better is you want to get to the point.

hey...thre's an anime called Final Fantasy Unlimited showing on Animax..I don't know if you have watch it yet...but I think the show's fabulous!=)
i also recommend Alice Academy(Gakuen Alice) to you...as it's quite romantic...and it's about fantasy, school life and romance. there's also fantastic and weird things happening to the main characters in the anime...although there's only a few episodes in the anime, you can also read the manga!the manga's more exciting!=)
P.S:don't look down on the kids featured in the anime and manga of Alice Academy...they are quite matured, and sometimes humorous!

I can recommend Fruits Basket.
Its a very good romantic-comedy about an orphan who moves onto her classmates property, but soon becomes the classmates housekeeper.
Its much more interesting than what I wrote down.
