That is the goal, but with the termoil in Lebanon and Syria being controled by Iran, they will not have peace.

Besides Palestinians were offered half of Jerusalem and the return to the pre 67 boundries and Arafat turned it down, why?

He knew Israel was tired of fighting and now they want it all.
Does the Palestinians deserve a homeland? YES, but not at the cost of destroying Israel.
This is where they will never agree, they will never accept Israels right to exsist. They will fight over Jerusalem till the end of time.
We (US) are kidding ourselves if we think we can broker a deal, the mislim world hates the US, any deal we put forth will not be accepted.
Just look at any leader worldwide that supports us, they are soon voted out or killed.

The conference in Annapolis is for peace to come in the Middle East attended by Isralies, Palestinians and Syrians.
