That completely depends on your classics choice, but I actually might select the Duke, which really surprises me.
I do love Brando on a bike or in the Roman Senate or on the Bounty or on the waterfront or... Of course, there's "Guys & Dolls". If I keep going, I'll talk myself out of John Wayne entirely, won't I? The Duke has more films to offer.
I've decided: I refuse to pick unless you list what is Classic Brando and what is Classic Duke. THEN, I'll make up my mind!

Classic Brando, not a doubt in the world. he's far more multifaceted. John Wayne looks and sounds the same in everything he did. Wayne made the character he was playing conform to his acting style. Brando made himself conform to the character.
