I often do, I keep a torch by my bed to read without waking my husband, but I also love to have a bath if I'm awake too early, it's nearly as good as an extra hour in bed, and puts me in a much better mood for the day than lying and staring at the ceiling hoping to fall back asleep;/

I never seem to find the time to do all the things that need to be done in any given day, because I am a working grandma, raising five grandchildren of various ages! Not to say "stay" at home grandmas don't have tons of things to do too, but since I went back to work, things have been really hectic.

Therefore I tidy up what I never finished the day before when I wake up early!

I stretch for a little bit. Take my daily vitamins. And then i just watch the early news or cook a good breakfast meal. If i still have time left over i spend it just fixing my hair in a cooler way than usual.
Rarely, if i even have more time left over, i usually go to the park and skateboard, roller skate there and practice the tricks, usally i manage my time when i excercise in the morning so i make sure that i have time to shower afterwards.
Also i see some people doing there tai chi at the park when i skate. early in the morning.

i do a variety of things depending on my mood:
- wake my husband for an early morning fling
- have a nice hot shower and shave my legs (when else do i find the time lol)
- enjoy hot tea on the deck looking out at the world
- read a book curled up on the lounge
- go back to sleep
- go for an early morning walk, and listen to the birds wake up.

I always have difficulty getting to sleep, then when I do I wake between 2 and 6 times. I am therefore always tired. Most of the time when I wake, I can go to toilet and go back to sleep. Sometimes when sleep eludes me I watch TV, Video or DVD. Oh I also take sleeping tablets that sometimes don`t work !!

do something productive, i guess what you do is good, like reading a book or taking a bath is also good

you can also surprise your husband with a good morning sex I'm sure he'll love that, je je i know i will its a nice way to start the day

or you may also try sleeping later then usual maybe that may help you to wake up a little later

I like a bath but I also enjoy using the computer without the kids around to interupt every 5 mins lol..

Depends.. If it is a work day and it is real early, I fight to get back to sleep. If it is just a short time before I actually have to get up, I get up and drag the rest of the time.

If it is on my dyas off, I get on here and answer questions or play a game on my computer.

I have several sleep disorders, so this happens on a nightly basis. I "visit the throne room", have a cigarette, and lie back down. Usually 2-3 times a night.

Turn over and fall asleep. If I've woken from a bad dream then I'll listen to the radio to take my mind off it until I fall asleep.

If I cannot go back to sleep and it is a waste of time trying to, I usually get up, have a hazelnut flavoured coffee and watch TV.

Don't bag me about drinking coffee and trying to sleep - the feeling of warmness in my tummy helps me to go back to sleep, along with the crap on night-time TV!!!
