I am not young, but when I was 16 it was fashionable to pluck them all out and draw them in.. (it looked good then)! Now I am older and they never really grew back properly, I have a fringe but the actual eyebrow hairs are hard long and tough. I hardly pluck them as there arn't really enough. They get long and I trim them and try to shape them. (Don't suggest going to a professional theres hardly anything to work with here). If I use a clear mascara I literally stick them down and they look a bit half decent (under my fringe). I have thought of dying them to 'make them less noticable', I am blondish but these eyebrows are black. Can you dye eyebrows? Or will I end up in a bigger mess. Eyebrows are the frame of the face after all. My eyes are dark brown.

Eyebrow dye works well - Eyelure do one (Boots) but perhaps have them professionally done the first time. Have you throught of threading?? They can get amazing results with that - I plucked mine to extinction years ago!!

I have light eyebrows that look almost non-existent until you get close up. I pluck them but I don't make a very good job of it! I use a blonde eyebrow pencil to draw them back in and they look better.
You can dye them but if they are already dark what is the point? Pluck them all out and draw them back in again like you used to.

pluck them out and draw them in again. use a shade three times lighter than the hair. so a dark blonde, mousey colour. the more natural looking the better but the 50's styles are coming back and you could get away with it.

You can dye them- try an eye lash tinting kit from a chemist, ouse a very well sharpened good quality eye brow pencil to draw in lines, or a very thin smear of vaseline to keep them in place.
