If it is only one party involved I would view it as adultery. If both parties are involved I would view it as consensual sex. It would be similar to having a threesome or foursome.

The word adultery is 400 years old. For the first 300 years it meant molesting children - it had nothing to do with sex outside of marriage. The powers that be changed the colloquial meaning about 100 years ago and have been molesting children with wild abandon since then. They did that to control you. If you, or your friend, has no problem with what they are doing, then have a blast.

I suppose in the eyes of the lord it would be considered adultery but I feel that as long as all parties involved are OK and give their permission do allow it to happen then it is OK.Although it may not be for everyone it is a lifestyle that many people enjoy and receive pleasure from doing it.

Under the legal and biblical definition of adultery - "voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and someone other than his or her lawful spouse" - it is. However, it is not cheating in that there is no deception involved like when a husband or wife has sex with other people without their spouse's knowledge.

Adultery, although a misdemeanor in most states in the U.S., is not something the courts pursue unless someone actually presses charges, like in a divorce case.

Yes. It is the sharing of an intimate level your body and mind with someone other than your spouce. Yes. Seondly if it is without done without the consent and knowledge of your spouce it is essentially cheating. You are living a lie. Lastly......... the sharing of yourself intimately with another often if not almost always ends up a train wreck waiting to happen to the present marriage. The reason for this is that a person normally ends up picking a primary source for sharing intimacy with (mentally etc) and it can ultimately hamper the most important part of a marriage.

I think if both the woman and man give permission it isn't adultery and it is most likely a successful marriage. I never thought I would use those 2 words together in my life; successful and marriage LOL

Great Question !!

Im not sure.

If you both know & are both there & its not a swap thing and go separate ways well then I guess its another consensual act between a married couple.

If you both have the "right " head space for it and no one gets hurt ....

As they say " Different strokes for different Folks"

if your married and have any sexual contact with another person (male or female) thats adultery.
if your single and have any sexual contact with a person (male or female ) who is married --- thats adultery.
now if your single and swing with un married people ( male or female ) that wouldnt be adultery.
so theres yur 3 choices.

If both people in the relationship are consenting of the act of 'swinging' then I don't think so; that's why it's called 'swinging', not "cheating".
