It doesn't matter who will coach Nebraska. Their glory days are behind them, their good teams are behind them, there is nothing but mediocrity in their future. Tom Osborne needs to stop living in the past....Nebraska football is no longer the dominant force it once was.
Tradition doesn't mean much anymore. What kind of talented 18 year old who dreams of playing in the NFL would want to go to Nebraska? Except some local Mid-West kids...no one. They do not send many players into the NFL....an occasional O-lineman or defensive player that's IT!
Mid pack in the Big 12 is your new home Nebraska...just hope you can beat Baylor when you play them.

My choice four years ago was Turner Gill and he is still my choice. If it ends up to be Pelini, I'll be ok with that too.

i seriously wouldnt be surprised if Osborne came back for a season or two. i think Pelini would be a good option though.
