Yes, a doctor can break it for you. Sometimes women have to have help from their doctors if they are newly married and struggling to have it break during sex.
The hymen can also sometimes break on its own such as in a fall, or in the case of some (which happened to me) sometimes it can break because of having the first annual exam and pap smear. The doctor broke mine because he used a regular sized speculum when I had my first pelvic exam and pap smear at 18 because we didn't know that there were speculums (the instrument that allows the doctor to do a pelvic exam) small enough to do these exams on virgins without breaking the hymen.
I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

Actually, you probably don't have it anymore. The hymen is a thin piece of skin in your vagina. By the time most girls have sex for the first time, the hymen is already gone, having been broken during boisterous play (such as horseback riding or other activities) years before hand.
That doesn't mean that sex won't be uncomfortable the first few times, but...there is, most likely, no hymen.

You can actually, my obgyn told me that she has some women ask that before their wedding or before they plan to have sex the first time, that their hymen be broken by the doctor. Mostly they only do it when the hymen is unusually thick and would be difficult (and painful) for the penis to break through.
