It sounds like you might be experiencing some kind of extraordinary activity in that house, of course it's upsetting if you can't explain everthing away to just coincidence.
If it is an old house, you may have to have an expert building inspector go through and find if the house needs support or a whole list of other potential violations that could cause a house to seem creepy.
As for the 6th sense or e.s.p. some people think it is not possible, wouldn't it be strange if it were in fact the spirits flashing pictures in the mind of "psychics". We won't know since there is no strong evidence to back up the ever-expanding amount of theories out there.
Check the house out in a logical way room by room and I am sure you'll find an explanation to most of what is going on.
Whatever can't be explained is possibly paranormal.

Perhaps you missed the latest expose om MSNBC where a girl was kidnapped, held as a sex slave (in a dungeon) for 60 days and then released. She went to the police with a full description of the man that held her captive and his car. However, she had a known history as a drug user and thus no one (especially the police) believed her. The man was caught (dungeon discovered, etc.) later.
This was both real and unbelievable (the 2 are not exclusive of one another).
Not sure what crazy stuff you have heard in your house but losing things and not being able to find them and them turning up later is normal and usually explained by either poor memory (we all experience this at times) or overlooking objects in front of us (we also all do this at times).
My point is that you need to examine and eliminate all normal explanations first. This will allow you to focus on what truly is unexplained.
Paranormal is an umbrella term that includes aliens, UFOs, ghosts, ESP, and Big Foot. So, some paranormal events may be real (there is considerable evidence for ESP) while others may not be real (there is no experimental evidence supporting aliens being real but this of course doesn't mean they are not real).
Also, answers may be different than we expect (for example Big Foot may not be a missing link but a genetic mutation or an undiscovered species of bear).
Paranormal is completely real if we make the definition human experience that current science can not adequately or completely explain (memory is paranormal by this definition).
Some work on precognition (seeing the future) via remote viewing and precognitive ESP test has shown evidence for this ability.

first off, as for 6th senses. I have yet to hear of someone being able to demonstrate the ability with any regularity in a controlled environment. I do think animals can demonstrate what we call the 6th sense, but they are on a different level for different reasons. I think that since humans have gone from hunter gatherers to Agriculturalists living in groups, we have lost many feelings for whats going on around us that we used to have. we don't use it so we lose it so to speak. Our sense of smell, hearing , and eye sight are not as acute as they once were. As for hauntings, thats a totally different part of the paranormal experience. There has bee just too many eye witness accounts, way too many picture accounts, way too much weird evidence to just erase anything that has to do with a haunting. I always tell my group, rule out the normal before you label it paranormal. Make sure you've checked anything and everything before you start saying the words, "its haunted". There can be a lot of explanations for noises in homes, reasons for things being lost or mis- placed.
send me a video showing something is not there and then it showing up in the exact place with no splicing or interuptions in the video, then I will believe a ghost is playing pranks. Otherwise, a memory is a terrible thing to waste! I am a skeptical believer.

Well, it's not necessarily an either/or. They could be (1) both real yet unbelievable at the same time. Or they could be (2) real and believable, or (3) unreal and believable, or (4) unreal and unbelievable.
I think (3) and (4) are the ones that apply. I don't think it's real, and I don't find it believable but many others do. Concerning your paranormal experiences, your description is a bit sparse. Certainly losing something and finding it later isn't paranormal at all but very commonplace. Why do you know "for a fact" that something paranormal is going on?

It is infact human, the thing that takes stuff. That's very normal spirit activity, probably just someone trying to get your attention. I had a little girl in my house for a while who would do that, she liked playing with me, and wouldn't stop, so I told her to go in peace into the light, told my angels I didn't want her here anymore.
6th senses... real. I can tell the future, but not in a big sense--I've always just had knack for knowing what will happen and won't. I'm also empathic (clairsentient), so I do believe very strongly in the paranormal. In fact, to me, it's all very "normal".

Both are real, but not as common as some believe and more common than others believe. As in everything we must rule out all possibility of the normal before considering the paranormal.
as easy as this sounds it is harder than it appears. We believers have a tendency to claim paranormal or sixth sense as soon as we are stumped by something, but then after someone more knowledgeable points it out, well then it was right there in front of our noses.
The hardcore skeptic will not believe at all and even when evidence suggests something way out f the ordinary they are as quick not to believe as we are to believe.

First of all, you do not "know for a fact" something non-human is going on. People lose things all the time. Not all noises can be immediately explained.
The sixth sense you are talking about has a natural explanation. It's almost always a case of confirmation bias.

I like to believe that paranormal activity exists, however I have no proof. It just makes things more interesting for me if I choose to believe in paranomal phenomenon.
Really there's no way to prove it, just what you choose to believe.

There is no such thing as paranormal activity. Period.
People have intuition, which comes from experience.
