My answers tend to be longer than everyone else's, but I like to explain my answer rather than just say "The answer is X". I would rather help people actually understand why the answer is X. Teach a man to fish, and all that jazz.

Nope!cause sometimes I talk my *** off and then sometimes it's short n' sweet. Some Questions can't be answered with a few words-that is if you really want a real answer. I guess that's where my Prolixia friend comes from.Yes! I'll join you Dear wherever you are!
You'll just have to e-mail me with a legit acct. the next time. LMAO.Sometimes I'm wasted and who knows what will come out! I don't even know sometimes. But I cared enough to put some thought in it at least. I don't care what other people think- I get Diaarhea at the mouth.

Not really embarrassed but sometimes I feel eyebrows turning up. I am such a wordy person since English is not my first language and I tend to write in a "formal theme" kind of way, not the conversational English way. And I feel unsatisfied by my short answers, like there's something I've left out. I just hope the people I've given long answers to weren't so irritated with me. I've only asked several questions but personally, I'd rather have long answers than short ones. I like reading answers.

Yes. I sometimes think that I missed the point and just rambled on and on and on and on....but who knows? Maybe some people like to read and find it interesting. Personally, it it's too long, I'd rather just wait for the movie to come out. Why can't everyone just accept the fact that some people, like myself, are easily lost in thought and enjoy prose and the written word? Writing, to me, is a lost art. People are in too big of a hurry any more to be willing to find a few minutes to stop and smell the flowers, or just relax and enjoy what others may have to say.

not really, I write long answers all the time even if I start off intending to only write a short one, once I get going Im a bit of a waffler, as you've probably noticed lol
im sure most people either get put off by a long answer and dont read or they just skim through it, so it's kind of a wasted effort, but still Im not gonna stop lol it's a habit =)

well actually no because sometimes i tried to explain it to a detail and they seem to like it when they get the whole detail about their question and beside I never go choosing as a BA for one words. they choose my answer because i explain it good and it help them. so don't feel embarrass just keep doing what you do and remember is not about how long the answer is. it's about helping out the questioner and making sure that they get the best answer from your knowledge.i don't care if my answer is too long. really i don't care. i make me feel good actually because i did my best to answer the question. this is not a multiple choice question where you have to chose A,B,C,D,or E, or Yes and No answer. this is Y,A.

Eh don't worry as long as you had good intentions. When I have a few too many I get longwinded and even recieve violation notices that I don't remember. Just use as few words as possible while still making your answer understandable and carrying the point.

Nope. I only hate it when i put the effort into a detailed answer, and a stupid one word answer gets picked as best. Makes me wonder why i bothered. Obviously i can't expect best every time, i just think that best should go to another who put some effort in too.

If you have seen some of my answers, they are long compared to some and short compared to many. The long and the short of it is: What ever comes to mind to answer the question is what goes in the box and no apology needed.

Yes especially when it's about something obscure and trivial like hypothetical situations taking place in 'Harry Potter'.....A lot of people find "what if" questions to be pointless, I don't completely agree but, 5 paragraphs to explain a "what if" question about a fictional world? ......
