Learn to drive.
I was actively discouraged by my mother who put every danger and obstacle in the way. Then there came a time when it was financially impossible to take lessons let alone afford the upkeep of a car.
I have found it to be most limiting in many respects, especially when it comes to employment. I think youngsters should be encouraged to learn to drive while they are quick to learn and adaptable. Very difficult in later life.

When men take liberties, like touching me inappropriately, I wish I had been taught to knee them in the nuts.

i wish i had been taught to be organized and also wish i had been taught how to swim. i also wish i had been taught to have confidence in myself since i lack self confidence and give good comebacks and be more brave and not be a pushover.

My parents taught me nothing of money management and investments. They thought I would marry well and have a husband that would take care of that. How wrong they were.
