They are the same, except at the wedding you get to smell your own flowers.

I guess one could look at it that way as a wedding could turn into a funeral meaning divorce, but in actuality, weddings are usually a happy occassion, and funerals are very sad. My, you have been busy today, lol. How is it going sawmanag.

nah. they are similar in that many people come together for the event. Their purpose is different. One is a positive beginning while the other is seen as a sad end. Good question though; really made me think.
