Rock for certain. Rap has always drawn most of its ideas from rock. It never would have existed had it not been for rock.

You are a moron. Generas are different and its up to the individuals taste in music. However rap has gone down hill with all of the new songs about gangs, "hos" and "pimps". There is still some good more poetic rap out there though. Rock has also gone down hill with all its generic pop bands like fall out boy and panic at the disco. I am a fan of rock and rap.(more of a rock fan tho)
