Cleaning products on hands or general wear and tear?
Is there a make of keyboard that is more resiliant to this type of wear.
No problem with my lap top

Looks like I have got to spend a tenner ,seems a bit expensive if lap top has to be replaced.
My computer is used by the ladies in the household do you think their cosmetics have an influence-not looking to blame, just ban them from the lap top

Asking too many Q+As on YA you can get a plastic/rubber cover for keyboards like garages use but then again a new keyboard cost less than a tenner

at the beginning is it a working laptop or laptop or laptop? If a working laptop or laptop only get a clean keyboard for decrease than 5 greenbacks on amazon whether that's a working laptop or laptop then you definately ought to ask you manufacture(please enable me be attentive to who that's?) Use a label make or some white paint that's no longer watery. be careful or your keyboard won't artwork afterwards. if your laptop is an previous ibook mac then the keyboards are detachable and you will replace it.

well, cleaning products and pressing lots of the letters will soon get rid of the printing. but i k now where all my buttons are on the keyboard anyway, so it doesn't bother me.
it is because of this reason im guesssing, that the makers didn't put any printing on the space button (!)
the voulves a, e, i, o, u are more prone to this as there is always at least one in every letter!

Yes, they used to make keyboards with the lettering moulded into them so they never come off. The early IBM keyboards were like that. You can try computer fairs for old equipment.

the 'new' keyboard are only paint on. If you would find the really old IBM one, you don't have that problem. Also those old IBM one give you that 'springy' feel when you press on the key. To some it is annoying but I like them as I know I have typed that key.

just regular wear and tear... it's just paint or something you know. pretty much every keyborad is suppose to be safe from this so if you buy another you should be good.. avoid the same brand though.

It happens - they are only painted on and after continual use they wear out and fade -
