Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. God doesn't make ugly. It just the way you look at things.

First of all Miranda Kerr is not pretty, She is a beauty in her own way. No one is prettier than the other, God made everyone different so there is no such thing as really Pretty. it is just an opinion of something the public thinks.

Well, let's assume there's a God. Beauty is first a very subjective quality. What's beautiful to some is repulsive to others. I know, I'm a ginger. Some people think I'm cute, some think I'm hideous. It's also cultural. Did you know that heavyset people use to be sexy? It's true. When food was in short supply, being fat meant you had money and power. Now that we are obese, fitness is sexy. So, what's hardest to achieve is sexy.

i will answer your question by a question.
why did God create the beautiful woods and the deadly desert?
i am from Saudi Arabia. most parts of Saudi Arabia consists of the desert. some people consider the desert as an ugly and dangerous place but the desert is not ugly as you may say. under this desert there is oil and Saudi Arabia is the largest producer in the world. after that, the desert was the great wall against colonial countries that prevented them from occupying Saudi Arabia like Britain France etc.
therefore, there are ugly people with beautiful moralities and there are beautiful people but they are bad in behavior. we have to accept that there is a wisdom behind it.

God makes everyone beautiful, a really interesting thought i heard is that by judging people, or showing prejudice, you are saying that god has made a mistake.
besides the fact that models spend half their lives in the makeup chair, and the all professional model photographs have been digitally enhanced (for example, dark circles under eyes removed, facial shape changed, eyes enhanced) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYhCn0jf46U - shows you exactly that.

Because if everyone was equally beautiful, we wouldn't be able to appreciate beauty. The only reason we can admire beauty is because we can compare it to something less beautiful. You wouldn't admire M. Kerr so much if all the women looked like her!

Look at someone. Look into their eyes. You will see a beauty. People are beautiful in many different ways and there is no way of see true beauty until you can look into someones soul.

I don't believe that God makes a personal decision on what people are going to look like. That was all put into action way back and now it's all up to what genes you have in your DNA. Everything is determined by your genes, hair color, shape of face, skin tone, size and placement of nose, eyes, mouth, etc. How tall you are, what body build you have, it's all been up to our genes for many, many thousands of years.

It's more of a random gene combination thing than the Lord's people factory," making ugly people", lol.

Please don't blame that on God, because it isn't his fault. Sins of the world and the devil can make some really good and beautiful stuff and he can screw it all up. Sin is to blame!
