I try to avoid a conflict like that but if someone is getting physically beat on, heck yes I will jump right in, but I will call the police first, then start beating on them. A lot of times I have seen a man fighting a woman and when somebody jumps in to help, the woman goes off saying don'thurt him. I just don't get it.

always. even if i don't like the person very much, i will still step in usually. It's not cool for anyone to get picked on or harassed. I know how that feels, so sure i'd step in to help them out.

Hey. I have the scars to prove it.
Its laudable that folks feel so motivated to help another. The reality is that once you stand up against a bully for the benefit of another you will probably be harassed yourself. In any event, your willingness to take a stand demonstrates you want to take society back from ruffians.

ABSOLUTELY !! I am fearless when it comes to this sort of thing. I have no hesitation in pulling someone up if I see them abusing a child. I've done this many times and never thought twice about it first. It's a natural response for me. Day to day I am non-confrontational. But if I see injustice I am right in there.. no fear and no hesitation. Little people can't stand up for themselves, so we have to watch out for them.

Always have- Always will- That just isn't cool! Sometimes humilliating the bully is justice, as I can make them go running off with their tail between their legs! Verbally, I can make somebody who is doggin somebody who is being victimized look like a fool, nope, it's not cool!

i really can't stand a bully, and have been known to step into situations that got really out of controle quickly (were already out of controle, i just steped in to "sedate" a certain participant) a well placed foot, stick, or hammer works wonders to calm down a situation most of the time...
the one thing that will tork my tail tight is to see a bully in action, i'll have to step in...
