I am asking this because someone on another post suggested that such a question be asked that way instead of the usual "Who created the universe".
______
So if some scientist think that life on earth first came from lightening striking mud (something like that), chemical evolution, or out of a sludge that oceans were made out of, why aren't these events repeated? Why was life only first originally created at one period of time, and not in a random period of time through out generations? Or is it? So what is preventing life from originating again? Also if life originated once, then doesn't life eventually run a risk of being extinct at some point?
Lots of questions, I know. Sorry, I can only answer 10 so I need to conserve.

Um well thank you fellow christians for your point of view. However, I put this question here, because I wanted the other sides point of view. Not that your POV is wrong, I wanted theirs. Then again if you are scientist and a christian , thanks .

Whether you say who or what, you are asking first cause. Currently, the only candidate answer is God. The strict materialistic, reductionist view rejects that answer, but when it is honest, it admits that it doesn't know. Perhaps some day science will know. Positing a quantum singularity or intersecting M-branes simply pushes back the first cause question, asking instead where they came from.
Some consider that some key components of life (certain amino acids) came from space, since they have been found on meteors. Others consider that life itself may have originated elsewhere. If life 'happened' on earth once, it could also have happened more than once. Since it was so extremely unlikely that it happened once, it is even more unlikely that it happened more than once. In a sense, life did not begin until something capable of reproducing itself appeared in an environment capable of supporting that reproduction. As we know life, that would have to have been at least a fully formed DNA molecule, embodying the knowledge of the final structure of the lifeform, how to construct that lifeform from the surrounding materials, and how to reproduce itself. That's a lot to 'just happen' more than once.
Extinction is an entirely different matter. DNA is an incredible mechanism for long-term survivability. Key systems are represented redundantly. Variations and natural selection are powerful tools for adapting to a changing environment. More remarkable than how much it changes, is how much it doesn't change. Man is believed to have been around for around 200,000 years. We have no evidence that man has ever been dramatically different than man is today. Shorter, taller, more or less hair, perhaps a somewhat different head shape, but as far as we know, structurally and functionally identical. A mechanism capable of preserving that for so long is impressive indeed, and likely capable of preserving it indefinitely.
Our solar system is a closed system. As long as the sun provides the energy and man doesn't do too much stupid stuff, the system should continue. The sun, estimated to be 4.57 billion years old, and is expected to have at least another 7 billion years of useful life. All the natural processes we observe on earth are recycling, like the food chain, the water cycle, and decomposition of dead matter. Even erosion builds up other land and the ocean floor, while tectonic plate movement builds new land. The cooling core might stop that process and cause us to run out of land before the sun becomes a red dwarf.

The word "God," big G, is a word that has come from the question, "How did the universe come into being, or where did we come from, etc.", that mankind has always thought about. It is simply a word used to give a name to "the first cause." The question, "Does God exist?" is rather rediculous since it is the same as asking, "Do we or anything exist?" We do, the universe does and we did not create the universe, so something else did. Whatever started it all is called "God." The problem with all of the questioning about the existence or non existence of God is that people confuse it with, "Of all the gods that people believe in, which one actually did create the universe, or did any of them do it?" You see, that God exists is a fact quite beyond anyone's ability to refute. Dispute they will, but they cannot refute it because something caused the universe. That we know. However, people do not know how to prove that their particular description of God, the creator, is the right one. That makes their ideas just a prejudice. The writers of the Bible presented a description of a God that could give powers to people that only the power that created the universe had, or has. For example, bringing a person back to life that had been imbalmed and buried for several days such as Jesus supposedly did in the case of his friend Lazarus, or in the case of walking on the surface of a stormy sea without water wings, a surf board, or rocks just under the surface, are powers that only the power that caused the universe has. Such things were called "miracles." They were used, supposedly, to prove that the person who performed them had been sent by God, the creator, and was actually bringing a message from God. The Bible tells of many false prophets who used fake miracles, magic tricks, to convince people to trust them and what they said, but no one else, not then or now, could or can resurrect a dead and imbalmed person or walk on water, or do any of the other kinds of "miracles" that Jesus and many other "true" prophets were reported to have done and that were clearly and publically observable by friends and enemies alike. Therefore, since no actual provable "miracles" are being done now, all "belief" in the Biblical God is not actually "faith in God," but rather a prejudice favoring one or more of the huge number of false Gods that humans have created in their own minds and whose commandments they more or less follow to some extent. Eveyone, in this way, is really acting as his own God doing whatever is right in his own sight no matter how it may differ from what someone else thinks God wants of humans. A truly just God would not, cannot, condemn people for disbelieving hearsay. And, everything the Bible says about God is hearsay no matter how logical it may be. Faith, a real valid faith, according to the writers of the Bible, is based on solid proof of the reality and trustworthyness of what is being trusted. Prejudice does not require proof, but justice does. The writers of the Bible present this from the beginning to the very end as they present a picture of a perfectly just God that does not, in fact cannot, require people to trust him (have faith in him) without him proving his existence as well as presenting irrefutable proof for the trustworthyness of those who claimed to truely represent him. So, in the end, they refuted themselves.

the conditions of the planet are not the same although scientist have tried to duplicate the initial happening the ideal that bacteria or some one cells organism evolved originally took billions of years under ideal and yet unspecifically known circumstances is an awful lot to try and wrap ones mind around. For a mathematical thesis on the origin before the big bang Victor Stenger theorises that nothing is highly unstable and is the prelude to the universe.left the url below.

A great deal of importance has been placed on the significance of the microwave background in establishing the fact of a universal explosion precipitating the creation event. That is why the discovery on April 24, 1992 was so important. It was that day, aboard the COBE (Cosmic Background Explorer) space shuttle that the necessary statistics were confirmed. The temperature measurements were found to be precisely in line with the predictions of the researchers. Mather concluded, "The COBE scientists now can say that the temperature of the afterglow radiation is 2.726 degrees above absolute zero with an uncertainty of only 0.01 degrees...It took us 18 years of careful effort to reach this point, but now we can say that the Big Bang Theory had been tested against observation to a fine degree of precision."{9} As another astrophysicist puts it, "The cool and uniform temperature of the cosmic background radiation indicated the universe had suffered an enormous degradation of energy, typical of a large explosion. This energy degradation is called entropy: the degree to which energy disperses or radiates. Only very hot explosions have the levels of entropy equal to that found in the universe. Only a hot big bang could account for such a huge specific entropy for the universe.{10} In addition to proof of an explosion, the irregularities found in that radiation also offered an explanation for the formation of galaxies and stars within the universe. In fact, the results reported by COBE in 1992 showed irregularities that nearly matched the calculations necessary to explain the formation of the universe as we know it today. The logical conclusion is that "the universe must have erupted from a single explosive event that by itself accounts for at least 99.97% of the radiant energy in the universe"
Just what does the voice of the Lord sound like? The Scriptures describe a most awesome sound coming forth from the mouth of God. The Psalmist tells us, "Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning. The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded" (Ps. 18:12,13). The nation of Israel had several opportunities to hear this voice for themselves and their reaction spoke for itself. We read, "Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the LORD descended upon it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked violently. When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered him with thunder...And all the people perceived the thunder and the lightning flashes and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood at a distance. Then they said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but let not God speak to us, lest we die" (Ex. 19:18,19, Ex. 20:18,19).
Jeremiah also described the results of the powerful voice of the Lord. He wrote, "Now prophesy all these words against them and say to them: 'The LORD will roar from on high; he will thunder from his holy dwelling and roar mightily against his land. He will shout like those who tread the grapes, shout against all who live on the earth. The tumult will resound to the ends of the earth, for the LORD will bring charges against the nations...This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘Look! Disaster is spreading from nation to nation; a mighty storm is rising from the ends of the earth'" (Jer. 25:30-32). When the Lord raises His voice in judgment the entire world will feel its effects. Truly, our God speaks with great and commanding power.
Our most recent and most conclusive scientific evidence points to a creation event; the starting point of the universe; a Big Bang. The Scriptures are in complete agreement with the concept of a Creation event. God created the universe from nothing. All of the stars, planets, galaxies, as well as all of the life that covers this earth came to be, because God spoke the word and it came into existence. No one was there to hear the sound at the moment of creation but the cosmic microwave background radiation still resounds with the radiant energy of an explosion from long ago. Though they have the proof of its happening, scientists still struggle to understand what the First Cause was, the mighty force that brought an entire universe into existence from nothing. Those who have studied the Bible understand that when God speaks, things happen. The Word of God was given and the universe sprang into existence at His command. It was a mighty big bang, indeed.
