MY GIRLFRIEND SMOKES HOOKAH EVERYDAY MUTIPLE TIMES A DAY. I WONDER IF THIS IS GOING TO EFFECT HER HEALTH AT ALL. SHE SAID IT DOESNT AND IT IS NOTHING LIKE SMOKING CIGARETTES. IM NOT SURE IF THIS IS FACT. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY INPUT ON IT????

Hookah doesn't have the tar that cigarrettes have plus it only has .5% nicotine...I'm not saying it's the best thing for your lungs...of course anything you smoke will have some long term effects...but I think i would not worry so much about her smoking hookah..she probably already knows it's not so good...

its the same as smoking cigarettes most hookah smokers say the water cleans the chemicals from the smoke this isn't true and its pure myth.
If it was a once a week deal it would probably be OK but if she smokes it 2 times a day that's the equivalent of a 1/2 pack of cigarettes easily.

Any inhaled substance is bad for the lungs. She is just in denial. Ask her to ask her doctor & see what the doctor says. A drug is a drug. The hookah may cool off the smoke, but it doesn't eliminate the polluting effects on the lungs, or the effects of the drug on the nervous system!

Dosn't make any difference what you smoke...smoke is smoke. She is in denial to the harmful effects as she is enjoying it too much at the moment.

not straight away, but in a few months, or even years her mental health could be at risk. obviously prolonged use could lead to lung cancer and other helth problems.
the most common side effect is her losing motivavtion, and not wanting to do anything other than get baked. she will not grow up (maturity wise) and it can become very addictive.
you're talking about pot, right?

one session of hooka smoking equals 100 cigarettes and even though it is filtered through the water you still get the tar and nicotine and all the bad stuff. google it.

depends on what you put in it but it will always cause some lung problems.
