It could be several things, one being a yeast infection such as Thrush. This would leave a woman with cloudy white vaginal mucus. I've had it several times and all it needs is an over the counter canestan cream. Or, as a person above me stated, it could be because you're ovulating.

Depending on where you are in your cycle it could mean that you have an infection going on. The only way to find out for sure what is going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.
