i'm talking like a regular jacket, something that i can wear to work often, not just once every couple of weeks but everyday.

why not
Wool is worm even when wet but it smells after being wet.

of course. as long as your comfortable in it and like it. if it keeps you warm wear it. (just bring along an umbrella if it rains. wet wool = no fun)
