my mom smokes?

i'm in seventh grade and my mother smokes. i told her the dangers of smoking and made a packet about it for her. She does smoke like almost everynight but like two or three, but i dont like it. i know thhat i'll never smoke because it's disgusting! The smell is gross and ewww! so i just leave her alone about it, but wat should i do, just leave heralone or what

like i always tell her, "When I'm 30 and have a baby, you won't be able to hold it because you smoke," and she says that she'll quit by then a long time from then, but i want to kno when she will because i love her and i want her to live a long time. She really doesn't smoke a lot, only 1 or 2 cigarettes and she doesnt smoke them everyday but still i dont like her doing it i dont like smelling it or anything! She gave up drinking which i liked but i wasnt worried about that im worried about her smoking. She doesnt smoke pot or anything, she smokes the packaged ones, but i dont like it. Her uncle got her into that and now i hate him because of that so wat shuld i do

sshe only smokes at night and just 1 r 2 cigarettes, but im still worried

If it's really only 2-3 a day things could be a lot worse. How do you know if she smokes during the day or not? Do you believe that? I sure hope so.

You are such a smart girl. Don't bug her every day about it. In a few days you can write her a note or tell her that all you want for Christmas is for her to stop smoking. There's not much else you can do. You're a wonderful daughter. For that I'm giving you a star. I so hope she quits for you. It's really easy! Just takes a little willpower.

Eventually, tell her that if she really loves you, she'll quit. Besides the wrinkles, there's heart disease, cancer, emphysema, and more. Tell her you want her around for a long, long time. You're such a sweetie-pie. :)

yer well my dad smokes. and i hate it to , i tell him all the time. but try this it works. Hind ur moms smokes some where in a good place she cant find it, and try like make a goal for her like tell her a few tips and stuff. say if u try and stop smoking ill do this like help her out around the house something like that. well good luck . xx

i have the same problem with my mom.

try telling her how it actually affects others worse then her. second hand smoke is way worse than even smoking a cigarette.

my step-grandma is dieing of emphysema and she never smoked a cigarette in her life. she worked in a bingo club for years though and tons of people smoked there.

Just leave her alone dear.
Maybe she is stress out of something.
We as a daughter cannot teach her to do things right.
Let her do what ever she wants to..
At least you have tried to advise her..
Just keep away from her when she is smoking alright...
