you might want to review what items you are using in that area. remember, you can only soap it down so much.

There are a range of reasons why it hurts when you pee.
One is an infection of some sort. The obvious first choice is an STD, but there are other non sexually transmisable diseases that could cause the same problem. Basically cured with a bit of antibiotics. If it is an STD and you have had unprotected sex recently you should tell your partners about it (to be polite, as a girl could have the disease, have no symptoms and give it to you)
Another problem is kidney stones, very painful, drink lots of water and try not scream too loud as you pass them. This is more likely to be the cause, as it doesn't hurt every time.
Another possibility is an allergic reaction. I once had some anti-spermicidable condoms that when I used them, directly afterwards it would be very painful to pee (so obvious I switched brands).
Either way, talk to your doctor to see if anything can be done.

Well, if you eat a lot of salt, that's kidney stones. I've had those, and they hurt like hell. if they get too big, sometimes they have surgically remove them (Ouch. Penis operations.) Also, one time I found a pubic hair in "The Eye" as some people call it, while taking a piss. Pulling those out hurt, too. Or, if you're an older guy, you may have an enlarged prostate, an STD, Prostate Cancer, or a Urinary Tract Infection, which means you need to go see Doc. He'd know more about that than some dummies like me on Yahoo! Answers.
I also agree with drinking more water. It dilutes the stomach acid, making it easier for Mr. Happy to do his job. If this doesn't help, call Doc, Pronto.
May your next piss be Pain Free.

Three possibilities come to mind.
1. Passing Kidney Stones, but likely you would have felt pain from this.
2. Bladder or Urinary Tract Infection
3. Sexually Transmitted Disease
You absolutely must see a doctor about it in any of the 3 cases. Do not be afraid of the doctor. They are your friend.

It could be a lot of things from a possible STD (if you are sexually active), to a kidney infection to an enlarged prostate or any number of other things.
Regardless of what it might be, since you are having problems you should go to the doctor as soon as possible.
Most likely it is something simple that can be cleared up fairly easily with the correct treatment.

You may have an STD or you may not be drinking enough water and the acid content is to high. Really get checked out fro an STD if you are sexually active if not drink more water.
