Giving them away...but usually it's at least 11 points.
EDIT: A person receives a point for each thumbs up on a best answer...obviously I give best answer a thumbs up. Others might thumbs it up as well so it could be more than 11.

I feel better both ways actually, it's always rewarding when you know you've just given someone 10 points, but when you find out YOU get 10 points, it feels good that you know you've helped.

i like giving them b/c it feels good to have that type of control and power over who got the best answer in my opinion.

I used to ask lots of questions, until Yahoo pissed me off, and I always loved choosing the Best Answer. 'Course, it's great to receive also!
