Does anyone know what's the meaning on the cover of Shakira's "Fijacion Oral" cd? I hear that like in her Oral Fixation cd cover, had something to do with biblical figures: Oral Fixation had Shakira as Eve. I think I heard it had something to do with Mary and baby Jesus, but can't remember. Anyone know?

PS: yes i know oral fixation means obbsession with anything oral, but I am talking about the cover, the pic in here, not the title.

It's based on the "Madonna and Child" painting (Mary and Jesus), which I believe was by DaVinci. It sort of hints at breastfeeding as an "oral fixation."
The "Oral Fixation Vol. 2" cover is based on this painting of Eve, by Durer. http://www.jennysartspace.com/alteredbooks/Durer/adam-eve.jpg (Warning: boobies!) This cover refers to Eve's "oral fixation," which caused her to eat the forbidden fruit.

This is the reason why I decided on this names for the albums (Fijación Oral Vol. 1 / Oral Fixation Vol. 2)".
The album artwork is significant as well. Shakira called upon Renaissance icons to explain the significance of Oral Fixation. In Fijación Oral Vol. 1 Shakira holds a baby in her arms. "Vol. 1 is more of a Freudian image: it represents the psychoanalytical perspective".

It's from Oral Fixation Vol. 2, HOWEVER this album did not originally have HDL. HDL was made after the album originally came out, and they re-released it with the new song included. So if you bought OF2 before the song came out, then you wouldn't have the "complete" version.

I don't know whether you are kidding or not, but, an oral fixation is an obsession of the mouth, In this case it has a couple of meanings.. Oral fixation refering to her singing, double entendre hinting at oral sex.
