Not at all. It amuses me to see the confused look on their face when they ask me if my 5 year old daughter is my granddaughter.
I also have a 30 yr old daughter expecting her first child in 2 months.
All 3 of my grandkids (sons children) are older than my youngest daughter. It never occured to them I adopted my youngest, especially to people who know I had cancer 5 yrs ago & how on earth did I have another child? It makes for interesting shopping I can tell you...so ask away...
and I'll be 50 next year thank you very much!
Granny has left the building....

it depends how and why they ask. I am a 22 year old, married mother of a 16 month old. Other mothers (who are in their late forties) of children my age will say "So, just HOW old are you?" as if I was 14 or something. It's like they're jealous and try to make me feel bad. But if people are friendly and curious I don't mind. I've decided that I will never lie about my age, and I'll be proud of it. It's sad that people (women in particular in my opinion) have to hide and be ashamed of their age!

No. It doesn't bother me at all, Hubb. You know, you do look a lot younger than 34. It must be that healthy lifestyle you lead.
lol. I'm 42 and you know that!

Makes me laugh. No one ever guesses my age correctly and when I tell them my age they refuse to believe it and I have to get my driver license out to prove it. I look about 15 years younger than I am. People are think I'm 45 when in fact I'm 60. It's too funny.

No, I want to be more senior. I love the respect and attention younger ones give me when I have aged.
