dear lebosito
when you deal with pure maths you forget all other things and maths is a religion with no holy books ,no prophet
but is a gift from the God this is what i meant
it is quite sprituall and morall
that is what i feel because while you get
used to use maths you can love people
who are supposed to be your enemies also. and go farther, you can love them.
if. you say that i am wrong .ok. i say nothing.
but this is what exactly i feel.
generally all sort of sciences should be considered as a morall thing.
because curiousity is a morall phenomenon not mentall.
please add me more.thanks.

dear einstein
did you know Einstein used to ask simple question from the god ?meanwhile enrico fermi was so sharp
that could figure out the distance of a
explosion just by hearing the sound of the blast?but it is the Einstein's brain which has been choosen to be kept in
a machine for next generations because Einstein was morally educated
by science and on the top, certainly is maths.

Dear CogitoEr
in your profile you said that you hated bigotry against spirituality.i should say either do i.
i know there are diferent between a surger knife and a bitcherry knife
i should say almost all sciences can be misused but nothing wrong with the science itself.it was good that you permited IM and E-mail in your profile
it shows that you believe in what you say
please add me more.

dear cole han
just think of the nature of sciences in generall and math in particular, don't they offer you freedom?

It is the purpose and the intent in the purpose and the purpose in each person subjecting the mathematical operation to moral-isms, but logic purified of moral-isms is objective if it is an end in its self and not merely a means to an other end. That is the one and only acceptable moralism.
The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

it is not meditation, it is an abstract representation of the reality, when you count 3 trees you have the mathematical abstraction of the number 3. It is a tool.
It seems you add moral and spirituality everywhere. It seems you feel a need for that, maybe you are in search for philosophy of some sort. Mathematics can be a source for emotions too and if you find some moral code in it, it's fine for me. But don't generalize, some people are not religious and don't believe in any God.

Mathematics is a human need that effectively relates "number and language"-senses to all human-needs. No 'exact needs' will be stated either by a language or by numbers! Prescise human communication depends on merged use of both "number/ Mathematics" and "language/logic"!
Mathematics is neither subjective or objective. It simply relates 'precise number states' and promotes a concerned human awareness! A wrong theory of Mathematics invariably affects all concerned human activities!
Mathematicians still teach us a difference of 'zero' and 'infinitesimal' is 'vague' but it also regards all computing principles (relating infinitesimal) is perfect! So it is neither objective nor subjective!
Pure Mathematics relate unchanged number-states!
Regards!

I consider math only as a tool in explanations of physical aspects of matter.
I think pure math can exist on itself by having no limits of abstractions.
Being a science field, it is objective but it depends on who uses it who become subjective .

Your opinion, my opinion...the two are subjective, and sturdy adequate.. for me. A dictionary meaning of the word "subjective" is in simple terms a broadcast version of an opinion of the meaning of the word and in keeping with possibility even much less closer to the certainty afterall that's subjective.

mathematics is the study of abstractions not objectivism.
your are greatly confusing conceptualization with religion. religion is not a concept. it is a belief. math is not a belief. it is abstract.
I like to add, your discussion on math is weak. You don't have any strong points here. Try actually learning math to see for yourself what it is.

Math does not drive the common man to moral truth. If anything it does the exact opposite. How many times are statistical truths used to provide evidence supporting prejudices against people? Math is abstract... it is based on logical reasonings. And logic is based on our perceptions of truth and the emotional appeal that we observe our reasonings pan out as valid.
Deductive logic, with its firm grasp on a structure and a set of rules, was based on inductive logic, which in turn is based in instinct, intuition, and emotion. No tangible evidence supports deductive logic, nor can logic validate itself.

Math is objective. What is subjective is our concept of how to use it for we cannot be purely objective at all.
