Hey, I'm 45, and I still: listen to punk rock, learning about new bands and things that this generation deems important. NO. Do not just give up and do the usual "mow the lawn" crap. It's not like we're 100yrs old and using a walker now, is it? You do whatever makes yourself happy as long as you don't hurt anyone else. Go for it! 'sk8erpunk is cool.

HEHHEH, thats a good one. I used to say stuff like that to my kids when they HAD to do something that all their friends were doing, or would start saying things just cause their friends do. Hoping that they would realize how ridiculous it really is. It is a great way to break out of the frustration of dealing with kids and their peers. LOL. I think you should mow the lawn, cause you know no one else will do it for you.

Why not. This guy I work with is in his 40's and still skates with his buddies. Besides you and your friends could probably beat the crap out of your son and his buddies if you had to fight for skating territory.
