I understand where your coming from and I thnk that you have worded it beautifully.
Right now I can definetely say that my life is far from boring. My son was born 3 months early on November 7th and he's in the NICU. But, I do feel like my plans have been "beaten up by realistic considerations". Don't get me wrong, I feel very overjoyed about my son...but I have to deal with things that I wouldn't have otherwise had to deal with if he came in February like I was expecting him to.
And, I get so wrapped up in movies and books that sometimes I just want to take the actors/characters place and live the life they have. If only...right? =).

yeah. Life is more boring than movies. Its a reality. If we were to just watch the real life of someone in TV it would be boring sitting hours and watch that person do nothing interesting. The purpose of movies is to entertain and that is why they will most of the times seem more fun than real life. =)

I am really into fantasy and think that it would be fun sometimes to live in a fictional world. When it comes down to it, though, I wouldn't trade it for my own life. Even in books, games, and movies, the characters have some type of hardship. It isn't always fun. The stories, as with life, wouldn't be interesting if it didn't have its ups and downs..

Real life isn't as boring. I guess for me, while I constantly delve into movies, books, and fiction (walk around randomly sometimes just imagining things), life will always be more exciting because it is real. You can't just sleep, dream, and do whatever you want without consequence (or consequence that dissipates when you wake up).
But in terms of like magic and being able to fly and all that. Yes, fiction is so much better.

Nope, not boring at all. There are so many fascinating things in the world that we just overlook every single day. There is not some external thing - something "out there" that will make anyone happy forever. Looking inward will cause you to awaken to life...no, it's not always pretty but it's never boring.
Namaste.

Yes. That's why I'm a writer. I get to create my own worlds that are more exciting than real life, and I love it. Sometimes boring life can be an inspiration, though, because its the "what-if's" that really get you thinking. I recommend writing if you think real life is boring. It makes life so much more interesting and helps you twist ordinary things into extraordinary things.

Make your life more interesting
In many ways, making your life more interesting, is crucial to to lives of single people, especially if they wish to enjoy life and/or find a partner.
Make your life more interesting.
If your life is more interesting, people are more likely to find you more interesting. If your life is more interesting, then you are more likely to enjoy life. If you enjoy life, then people are more likely to enjoy being with you.
If you make the decision to make your life more interesting, then you will almost inevitably find that you will be looking to do more things, to attend more events, and to subject yourself to more experiences. The more things you do, the more experiences you have, then the more things you have to talk about.
The more things and experiences you have to talk about, the more you are likely to find people who share a mutual interest or experience. You may be the type of person who finds conversation difficult; we all do at times and to different degrees. However, if you have a wide range of interests and experiences, then the greater the likelihood of you being able to join in a conversation or respond to someone with lines like; 'I've done that', 'I've been there as well', 'Me too', 'You too ?'
Also, of course, if you hear someone or a group talking about talking about an interest you share, then you will be able to listen to them and join in with interest and knowledge.
Ironically, it doesn't really matter if some all your new experiences aren't all good. It still gives you something to talk about, even if you say that you didn't enjoy it. It may just happen that someone else listening to you also didn't enjoy it. Do, though, try not to be too negative.
No one is saying that simply making your life more interesting is going to solve all your problems as a single person. Quite frankly, it isn't. It can, however, be the first step toward making your life more enjoyable, and more fulfilling for yourself.
It has also to be accepted that 'interesting' means different things to different people. Try to define 'interesting' for yourself; what do you find interesting ? Is there anything you've always wanted to try but haven't ? Then go out and try new things. If you like them, do them again. If you don't like them, no loss, at least you have tried them.

In conclusion.....
Making your life more interesting is an important step for any single person. If your life is interesting, you are more likely to enjoy life and people are more likely to enjoy you.

If your bored, or you consider your life boring or uninspiring, it's because you've made no attempt to gain knowledge or information that will inspire you.
