If you mean when should you start the pills, start it the Sunday after your period. This means whatever day of the week you start your period (yes, even if it is Friday or Saturday), start the pills on Sunday. Make sure you take them around or at the same time daily and do not skip any tablets.
When you start the pill, if you are menstruating or in middle of your cycle; you may stop bleeding or have a lighter flow - this is normal once starting the pill (do not freak out or stress about it). Your period will be back like clockwork within a couple of days of finishing your pack.
**If you feel irritable or have terrible mood swings on the pill - speak to your gynecologist or doctor to change you to something that suits your body better.**
Good Luck!

Many doctors want their patients to wait til the first day after their last period ended, but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well.

I tried Yasmin for 6 months but then had to get off because of other problems that occurred 6 months after I started using it.
